Bring your team together for a totally unique outdoor adventure to remember.
All sessions start with a brief but through training session, most people have never ridden a Segway so you’ll go from novice to pro in a matter of minutes. The first few seconds are a little nerve racking (it’s a sensation like no other, think stand-up magic carpet ride) but once you realise quite how simple a Segway is to operate you’ll begin relaxed in no time.
After a little driving test on the off-road course, its time to hit the farm. Your guide will start at a beginner pace to let the team settle in & give everyone a chance to look around at the spectacular scenery & once the nerves have settled it’s time to move to pro level.
We allocate 5 guests to one Segway guide so everyone can travel at a speed they are comfortable with, from casual cruisers to speed demons we can split the group accordingly so everyone has a fantastic time.
The guided tours take guests on bumpy farm tracks, through plains & to the vineyards where you’ll enjoy a few stops to take in the epic view of the surrounding mountain ranges & learn a few interesting facts about how Spier uses unconventional methods to grow grapes for their award winning wines.
The tour offers guests a complete immersion in nature & wide open spaces leaving our visitors feeling invigorated & energised.
We love to see the how even the most nervous of people during training return to base travelling at pro level speed with the huge smiles, be warned off-road Segway is quite addictive.
The fun doesn’t have to stop after your Segway Tour, why not add on a wine tasting, picnics enjoyed on the lawns under the old oaks or a meal at the delicious Vadas smokehouse & bakery.
We are conveniently located at the picturesque Spier Wine Farm in Stellenboch, so quicky & easily accessible for companies in Cape Town City centre, as well as the surrounding winelands area.
Participants are required to arrive 10 minutes before the tour, strictly no alcohol consumption prior to driving Segways and should have sunscreen, water, weather-appropriate clothes and flat shoes.

He was quite knowledgeable and was able to answer so many of the questions we had. He also became our number one photographer on the trip. He is fun for all ages, takes beautiful pics , teaches you the ins and outs of these wonderful off-road segways. And then takes you on a beautiful tour of this very large estate. King took us round for one hour tour, took photos of us for us which was great! Told us all about the farm and farming methods, was warm and patient and knowledgable, was a lot of fun, thank you!
